The mood color is green. A serious review of the cartoon "Grinch"
The Grinch from the creators of Minions, Illumination Studios, can be watched by the whole family. And it is not surprising, because the cartoon is positioned as permitted for viewing by children from 6 years old.
Experienced moviegoers came to the new creation of the studio to see off-screen humor understood by adults.
ABOUT GOOD
Panache. She is cool. From the very beginning, they let us know that the creators know how to draw and love. It's nice to look at the picturesque views, the richly decorated houses, the character models, the landscapes in this fabulous kingdom.
Images of heroes. The heroes of the Grinch are not the old uncle in a green coat, but the children and their parents. In general, the problem of parents and children is as old as the world. And in this film she is shown, in many respects, from the side of the child.
The idea and conclusions. Love and kindness (I hope this is not a spoiler for anyone) - Very important qualities, especially if someone has a heart (not literally) half the size of an ordinary one.
It would seem that what could have gone wrong?
Well, firstly, the film was shot in such a way that something constantly happens in the frame, and the main character (Grinch), despite his retreat, can not live a minute without bursting into a lengthy tirade about the injustice of life, cindy lou who hair father. In the film we are shown a family consisting of a mother, daughter and two brothers. Moreover, mom directly tells her daughter that she is her greatest joy ... well, okay.
Papa Cindy Lou is not in the movie. No way. There is no photo of him, he is not mentioned. True, Cindy's hairstyle, ingenuity and fearlessness coincides with the Grinch. Which suggests that perhaps in this film universe they are relatives. Or not? Move on.
The color of the mood of the protagonist. Why is Grinch green (other residents with light beige skin, fur)? Okay, the question is not at the address. The grinch has always been green. But the Grinch hates Christmas. And at the same time he buys green hair dye in the store. And the tree is kind of green, isn't it?
The scene when the Grinch hangs on a garland and squints in horror at the blinking garlands is difficult to connect only with the New Year's fear. He seems to have started natural epilepsy there ...
In general, during the film it seems that the Grinch, in principle, is not evil. He's just a little old (he himself says that he endured the celebration of the New Year for half a century).
He has a wonderful habit of playing an organ that he himself has assembled.
The Grinch is generally a skilled inventor. Invented a bunch of cool gadgets literally on my knee. It is hard to imagine in what century his native city will live, when the Grinch will direct all his work for the good.
Theme with Santa Claus (Santa Claus).
In the cartoon, with all the cartoons (yes, hi tautology) there are ghostly hints that there is no Santa, and residents themselves buy gifts to each other. This is evident from the very first shots when themed stores with gifts are opened all over the city.
But blin. Children do not know about this. Or pretend they don’t know. Or they pretend that they pretend they don’t know. The scene where Cindy Lou makes a trap for Santa shows that the tree is already dressed up, and the gifts are under it.
What does Santa do in this film adaptation? What is its function? The mythical guy living on the North Pole?
By the way, he never appears in the film. Generally. No way. Not a hint, like the silhouette against the background of the moon (corny, yes). Not a hand that reaches for the liver. No way. Generally.
